AS 106 - Pre-employment AST Practicum

Course Description: This course is 4-weeks or 120 hours (whichever is completed first) of work experience upon the completion of initial classroom studies. The student is assigned to a training position within the automotive repair industry. This practicum provides the student an opportunity to observe and contribute to the day-to-day operations of an automotive service technician under normal operating conditions. The primary objective is to obtain the basic skills to function safely in the workplace and complete assigned tasks. P/F.

Prerequisites: minimum of 65% combined average of LLC Automotive Service Technician courses: AS 101, AS 102, AS 103, AS 104, AS 105
Corequisites: None
