ZO 350 - Wildlife Biodiversity 3 Credits Outline Effective Date: 2023 Fall Version # 8 (2023/2024)
Course Description: Conserving biodiversity requires knowledge and understanding of wildlife species. Students identify species, compare their taxonomy, explore their ecology and how these species are essential components of the environments in which they live. Population dynamics and species reintroduction are studied. Students gain practical experience conducting visual and auditory wildlife surveys. There is special emphasis on the conservation of pollinators.
