Course Description:
This course considers the social, historical, and cultural development of English literature. It explores a variety of voices by engaging with texts from different genres, time periods, and countries. In so doing, students learn about others and themselves. Using primary and secondary sources, students research and respond to readings through written, visual, and oral mediums.

Prerequisites: English 30-1 or equivalent.
